Governance
We are led by collaboration of our donors, organisations comprising the Alliance secretariat, and business partners.
Steering group
Unusual in the world of international development initiatives, the Alliance puts public-private sector collaboration truly at its heart with a steering group made up of representatives of both its donor governments and its business partners.
The steering group comprises a representative from each donor government (United States, Canada, Germany and Denmark) as well as private sector representatives (Abbott, Ardo VLM, BASF, Deutsche Post DHL, Stellantis, UPS, Walmart).

Management team
The Alliance is jointly led by the Center for International Private Enterprise, the International Chamber of Commerce and the World Economic Forum—in cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Our management team, comprising the Alliance director and one deputy director from each organisation, oversees the day-to-day activities of the Alliance.
